Pipedrive does one thing very well: it shows your deals as a pipeline that salespeople enjoy using. Teams start looking for a Pipedrive alternative when the business needs more than a pipeline, and the plan that includes email sync and automations costs $39 a seat, not the $14 on the pricing page.
This guide compares eight Pipedrive competitors on what a team actually pays. Prices were last checked on October 7, 2026.
A note on bias. We make BaseCloud CRM, one of the eight. To keep this useful, the other seven are listed alphabetically and not ranked, BaseCloud is covered separately at the end, and the cost tables show the team sizes where Pipedrive is the cheaper choice.
The short answer
| If you want | Look at | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| A CRM built around calling | Close | $35 a seat for teams |
| Built-in phone, email and chat at a low price | Freshsales | Free for 3 users, then $9 a user |
| A white-label platform for marketing agencies | GoHighLevel | $97 a month, unlimited users |
| A free CRM with marketing tools | HubSpot | Free for 2 users, then about $20 a seat |
| Sales and project delivery on the same boards | monday CRM | $12 a seat, 3-seat minimum |
| A path to an enterprise platform | Salesforce Starter Suite | $25 a user |
| The cheapest pipeline CRM, or more customization | Bigin and Zoho CRM | $7 a user (Bigin), $14 a user (Zoho CRM) |
| Pipeline plus phone, texting, WhatsApp, quotes and automation in one subscription | BaseCloud CRM (ours) | $699 a month for 5 users |
Prices are per month on annual billing unless stated, in US dollars.
How we compared them
- Prices come from each vendor’s public pricing page, checked on October 7, 2026. Where a vendor’s page would not show us US dollar prices, we used recently published pricing guides. The sources are listed at the end.
- We compared total cost for a defined team, not seat price, because seat prices hide the plan you actually need and the tools you add beside it.
- We have not run a hands-on test of every product. Feature notes are taken from each vendor’s published plan details. BaseCloud figures come from our own price list.
What Pipedrive costs in 2026
| Plan | Annual billing, per seat per month | Month to month | 10 seats, per year (annual) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $14 | $24 | $1,680 |
| Growth | $39 | $49 | $4,680 |
| Premium | $59 | $79 | $7,080 |
| Ultimate | $79 | $99 | $9,480 |
There is no free plan. Every plan has a 14-day trial.
Why teams look for Pipedrive alternatives
The entry plan is thin. Two-way email sync and automations start on Growth, not Lite. A ten-person team that expected to pay $1,680 a year pays $4,680.
Monthly billing costs much more. Paying month to month adds $10 a seat on Lite and Growth and $20 a seat on Premium and Ultimate. For ten seats on Growth that is an extra $1,200 a year.
Add-ons stack up. Email campaigns and website visitor tracking are sold as add-ons, each priced per company per month. Lead capture, documents with e-signature and project tools are add-ons on Lite and Growth, and are included from Premium.
It stops at the sale. Pipedrive manages deals. Invoicing, payment and customer service happen somewhere else.
Calling and texting need other tools. A team that phones and texts leads all day pays for a business phone service beside Pipedrive, typically $15 to $35 a user per month.
If a pipeline is all you need, Pipedrive is still one of the best choices at its price, and nothing below is easier to learn.
The alternatives, in alphabetical order
Close
Best for: teams whose salespeople spend most of the day on calls.
Price: Solo is $9 a month on annual billing. Team plans are Essentials ($35 a seat), Growth ($99) and Scale ($139). Calling costs about $0.02 a minute and numbers start at about $1 a month.
Better than Pipedrive at: calling, texting and email are part of the product, with a power dialer on Growth.
Watch out for: automated workflows start on Growth, which costs more than Pipedrive Ultimate.
Freshsales
Best for: small teams that want a dialer and sequences on a small budget.
Price: $9 (Growth), $39 (Pro) and $59 (Enterprise) a user per month on annual billing, with a free plan for up to three users.
Better than Pipedrive at: built-in phone, email and chat from the lowest paid plan.
Watch out for: multiple pipelines start on Pro, and call minutes are billed separately.
GoHighLevel
Best for: marketing agencies managing leads for many clients.
Price: a flat $97, $297 or $497 a month with unlimited users, plus usage for texts, calls and email.
Better than Pipedrive at: funnels, texting, calling and automation in one flat-priced platform.
Watch out for: it is designed for agencies, so it takes more setup than a single sales team needs. See our GoHighLevel pricing breakdown.
HubSpot
Best for: teams that want a free starting point and marketing in the same tool.
Price: free tools for up to two users. Sales Hub Starter lists at $20 a seat per month. Professional is $90 a seat on annual billing, plus a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee.
Better than Pipedrive at: forms, email marketing, live chat and a very large app marketplace alongside the pipeline.
Watch out for: the step from Starter to Professional is steep, and that is where sequences and advanced automation sit. See HubSpot alternatives for the detail.
monday CRM
Best for: businesses where the work after the sale matters as much as the sale.
Price: $12 (Basic), $17 (Standard) and $28 (Pro) a seat per month on annual billing, with a three-seat minimum.
Better than Pipedrive at: a won deal can become a project on the same platform, and the price per seat is lower.
Watch out for: Basic allows 1,000 active contacts and deals, and Standard allows 250 custom automations a month. Calling relies on integrations.
Salesforce Starter Suite
Best for: small teams that expect to grow into a much larger system.
Price: Starter Suite is $25 a user per month and Pro Suite is $100. The full Sales Cloud editions start at $195.
Better than Pipedrive at: a clear path to an enterprise platform without changing vendor.
Watch out for: the price gap between the suites and the full editions is wide. We cover the options in Salesforce alternatives.
Zoho CRM and Bigin
Best for: teams that want the lowest price, or more customization than Pipedrive allows.
Price: Zoho sells two products. Bigin is its simple pipeline CRM at $7 (Express), $12 (Premier) and $18 (Bigin 360) a user per month on annual billing. Zoho CRM is the full product at $14, $23, $40 and $52 a user, with a free edition for three users.
Better than Pipedrive at: Bigin costs half of Pipedrive Lite. Zoho CRM Professional at $23 includes quotes, sales orders and invoices, which Pipedrive does not offer.
Watch out for: Zoho CRM takes longer to set up, and calling needs Zoho Voice (from $34 a user) or another provider. Our Zoho CRM pricing guide explains each edition.

What it really costs, like for like
Pipedrive’s seat price covers the pipeline. This table prices the same thing on every row: a team that calls and texts customers from the CRM, runs automations, and sends documents for signature.
Where a product does not include one of those, we added a typical tool for it:
- Phone and texting: $25 a user per month. Business phone services run from about $15 to $35 a user.
- E-signature: $30 a user per month for five people who send documents, about the price of DocuSign Standard.
Figures are monthly, on annual billing. Call minutes, texts and one-time fees are left out for every product.
| Product and plan | Added to match | 5 users | 15 users | 25 users | 40 users | 60 users | 100 users |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pipedrive Premium | Phone and texting | $420 | $1,260 | $2,100 | $3,360 | $5,040 | $8,400 |
| Close Growth | E-signature | $645 | $1,635 | $2,625 | $4,110 | $6,090 | $10,050 |
| Freshsales Pro | E-signature | $345 | $735 | $1,125 | $1,710 | $2,490 | $4,050 |
| HubSpot Sales Hub Professional | Marketing Hub Professional, SMS add-on | $1,325 | $2,225 | $3,125 | $4,475 | $6,275 | $9,875 |
| monday CRM Pro | Phone and texting, e-signature | $415 | $945 | $1,475 | $2,270 | $3,330 | $5,450 |
| Salesforce Pro Suite | Phone and texting, e-signature | $775 | $2,025 | $3,275 | $5,150 | $7,650 | $12,650 |
| Zoho CRM Enterprise | Zoho Voice, Zoho Sign | $420 | $1,160 | $1,900 | $3,010 | $4,490 | $7,450 |
| BaseCloud CRM (ours) | Nothing | $583 | $1,083 | $2,499 | $2,499 | $2,499 | $2,499 |
Pipedrive Premium already includes its documents and e-signature add-on, so only the phone service is added. GoHighLevel is left out because it is not priced per user.
What the table shows:
- Pipedrive with a phone system is cheaper than HubSpot, Salesforce and Close at every team size.
- Freshsales and monday CRM are cheaper than Pipedrive for most team sizes. Like Pipedrive, neither includes WhatsApp, invoicing or a full phone system with IVR menus and ring groups.
- BaseCloud costs more than a Pipedrive stack for teams under ten and at around 25 users. It costs less at 15 users ($1,083 against $1,260) and at every size from 30 users up, because its top plan has no user limit. At 100 users it is less than a third of the Pipedrive figure.
Where BaseCloud CRM fits
BaseCloud is our product, so read this section as the vendor’s view.
BaseCloud CRM has pipelines and a kanban board like Pipedrive, with one subscription and every feature on every plan. Around the pipeline it includes a built-in phone system with call recording and AI summaries, two-way texting, a WhatsApp shared inbox, email sync, quotes and invoices with online payment, e-signature and a workflow builder with 15 triggers and 49 actions. Call Connect rings a sales rep the moment a web form is submitted and connects them to the lead.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Users | Cost per user on yearly billing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Foundation | $699 | $6,990 | 5 | $117 |
| Growth | $1,299 | $12,990 | 15 | $72 |
| Dominate | $2,999 | $29,990 | Unlimited | $62 at 40 users, $25 at 100 |
Usage is billed separately at published rates: $0.14 a minute for calls, including recording and transcription, $0.02 a text and $10 a month per phone number. Onboarding is a one-time $1,500, waived on a two-year commitment.
Choose it over Pipedrive if your team follows up by phone, text and WhatsApp, quotes and invoices its own deals, and you want one bill with no add-ons.
Choose something else if a pipeline is all you need, or your team is smaller than about ten. Pipedrive will cost less and take less time to learn.
Our direct BaseCloud vs Pipedrive comparison goes feature by feature.
How to choose
- Decide whether you need a pipeline or a system. If a pipeline is enough, stay on Pipedrive or move to something cheaper such as Bigin.
- Add up your add-ons. Include every Pipedrive add-on and every tool connected to it.
- Look at how your leads prefer to talk. If most conversations happen by phone, text or WhatsApp, choose a CRM where those are native.
- Check where the sale ends. If your team quotes and invoices, a CRM that does both removes a handover.
- Trial with a real lead. Work one live deal from inquiry to payment before you commit.
Switching from Pipedrive: a short checklist
- Export deals, people, organizations, activities and notes as separate files.
- Write down your pipeline stages and the custom fields on each deal.
- List every automation and what triggers it.
- Save your email templates.
- Note which web forms and integrations create deals.
- Run both systems side by side for two weeks before you cancel.
