The problem

Reviews and rankings get checked when someone remembers

Reviews matter for local search, but replying takes time, bad reviews sit unanswered, and few businesses know whether they show up when people search nearby.

  • Unanswered reviews

Reviews pile up without a reply, which tells future customers nobody is listening.

  • Complaints found too late

A one-star review is spotted days later, after plenty of people have read it.

  • Ranking blind spots

You show up near the office and nowhere across town, and there's no easy way to see it.

  • Yet another tool

Review management and rank tracking are usually separate products, each with its own login and bill.

How it works

How review automation works

  1. Connect your Google Business Profile

Link the profile in BaseCloud. The Google Review Received trigger fires for new reviews on the locations that account can see.

  2. Branch on the rating

Send four- and five-star reviews one way and lower ratings another, with an If Statement on the star rating.

  3. Reply or escalate

Thank happy customers with a reply you wrote or one drafted by AI, and send complaints to a person before anything is published.

  4. Track your local ranking

Run a local rank grid for the searches that matter on a schedule, and compare yourself with the businesses that rank above you.

What it does

Reviews and local visibility, inside the CRM

A trigger and two actions in the workflow builder cover reviews and Google Maps rankings, and they work with everything else in the builder.

  • Google Review Received trigger

Fires on each new review with the rating, the review text, the reviewer and the location it was left for.

  • Reply to Google Review

Posts a public reply under the review on Google. Replies publish straight away, so keep a person in the loop for complaints.

  • AI-drafted replies

Use AI Prompt to draft a reply in your tone, then post it automatically or send it to someone for approval.

  • Local rank grid

Your Google Maps position for a search at every point of a grid around the business, from 3 × 3 up to 9 × 9 points, with the change since the last run and an optional map image.

  • Competitor snapshot

The top businesses for a search in an area, with their ratings and review counts.

  • Business lookup

What Google shows about a business: address, phone, website, rating, reviews, category and opening hours. Handy for filling in a new lead.

  • Ask for reviews

Use the SMS, WhatsApp or Email actions to send your review link after a job is done or an invoice is paid.

  • Several locations

Route reviews by location when you run several branches, so each manager sees their own.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

Can BaseCloud reply to Google reviews automatically?
Yes. When a new review arrives, a workflow can post a reply with the Reply to Google Review action. Replies are public and immediate, so most businesses reply automatically to good reviews and send complaints to a person first.
Can AI write the replies?
Yes. AI Prompt can draft a reply from the review text in the tone you describe. You choose whether it posts straight away or goes to someone for approval.
What is a local rank grid?
A map of where your business appears in Google Maps results for a search, checked at points in a grid around you. It shows where you rank well and where competitors take over. It measures your Google Maps listing, not your website's position in ordinary search results.
How accurate is the rank grid?
Positions come from Google's own ranking for a search at each point. They're very close to what the Google Maps app shows, though not always identical, because the app also personalizes results and mixes in ads. Every run measures the same way, so the change from run to run is reliable.
Can I keep an eye on competitors?
Yes. A competitor snapshot lists the top businesses for a search in an area, with their ratings and review counts.
Can BaseCloud send review requests?
Yes, as a workflow. For example, when an invoice is marked paid, send the client your Google review link by text, WhatsApp or email.
