The problem

WhatsApp on one phone doesn't scale

WhatsApp is how many customers want to talk to a business. Run it from one shared phone or the WhatsApp Business app, and a growing team hits a wall quickly.

  • One phone, many people

Only whoever holds the phone can reply, and nobody else can see the conversation.

  • Chats aren't linked to clients

Messages live in WhatsApp, not on the client record with the calls, emails and quotes.

  • Slow replies after hours

Messages that arrive at night wait until morning, and the lead moves on.

  • Everything typed by hand

Reminders, confirmations and follow-ups are sent one at a time, when someone remembers.

How it works

Connect WhatsApp in four steps

  1. Connect your number

Use the embedded set-up in BaseCloud settings to connect a WhatsApp Business account through Meta's Cloud API.

  2. Meta reviews the account

Meta checks the business account. You can use the rest of the CRM while that completes.

  3. Messages land in the inbox

Incoming WhatsApp messages arrive in the shared chat inbox, matched to the client and ready to assign.

  4. Reply, automate or hand to AI

Reply from the inbox, send templates and media from workflows, or let an AI chat agent handle the first reply.

What it does

WhatsApp, run like the rest of your business

BaseCloud uses Meta's official WhatsApp Business Cloud API, so you're not relying on a phone left on someone's desk. Here's what that gives your team.

  • WhatsApp Business Cloud API

Send and receive WhatsApp messages through Meta's official API, connected from BaseCloud settings with embedded set-up.

  • Shared chat inbox

WhatsApp and text threads in one inbox. Assign threads to people, let new threads tag themselves to the right client, and work the queue of unclaimed threads.

  • Templates, text and media

Send approved message templates, free-form text and media from the CRM or from a workflow.

  • AI chat agent

An AI agent replies on WhatsApp using the conversation so far, looks up the client and books meetings in your calendar. You write its instructions and choose the AI model.

  • WhatsApp in workflows

The WhatsApp Message Received trigger starts a workflow when a message arrives, and the WhatsApp Business action sends one, for reminders, confirmations and follow-ups.

  • Routing and assignment

Send new conversations to the right person, in the inbox or with the Assign Chat Thread action in a workflow.

  • Already using WATI?

BaseCloud also connects to WATI, with five WATI operations in the workflow builder, so you can keep your WATI set-up.
