Call recording and transcription
Call recording software with transcripts and AI summaries
Calls made or taken in BaseCloud are recorded and attached to the client. Moments after a call ends, a transcript and an AI summary with action points appear on the record, so nobody has to take notes.

The problem
Call notes get written late, short or never
Reps move on to the next call before the last one is written up. What the client asked for ends up in one person's head, and the rest of the team works without it.
No notes, no handover
When a colleague picks up the client, they start from zero because the last call was never written down.
Who said what?
Disagreements about what was quoted or promised have no record to settle them.
Coaching by guesswork
Managers can't hear how calls actually went, so training relies on what reps remember.
Action points slip
Follow-ups agreed on the call never turn into tasks, and the client waits.
How it works
What happens after you hang up
The call is recorded
Inbound and outbound calls through BaseCloud are recorded and stored against the client, with who called, when and for how long.
It's transcribed
The recording is transcribed with each speaker on their own lines, so you can read the conversation instead of replaying it.
AI writes the summary
An AI summary picks out what was discussed and the action points, and saves it with the call. It runs after the call, not live.
Your team acts on it
The summary sits on the client timeline. Turn action points into Workflow Notes, or let a workflow alert the right person.
What it does
Recording, transcripts and summaries in one place
There's no recorder app, transcription subscription or copying text between tools. Recording is part of the BaseCloud phone system, and the transcript and summary land where your team already works.
Call recording
Calls are recorded and attached to the client automatically. Play them back from the client's timeline.
Transcripts split by speaker
Each speaker gets their own lines, so you can scan who said what without listening to the whole call.
AI call summaries
A short summary with the action points on every call, written moments after the call ends.
AI search across your records
Search by meaning across notes, emails and records to find the client who mentioned a particular thing.
Speech to Text and AI in workflows
The Speech to Text action turns any recording into text, and the AI Prompt action can summarize it, check its sentiment or extract details from it.
- Transcribe a voicemail or an uploaded audio file
- Flag unhappy calls for a manager
- Pull names, dates or amounts into fields
Works with tracking numbers and Call Connect
Calls through call tracking numbers and Call Connect pass their recording link into the workflow, so you can log, summarize or route them.
Stored with your other files
Recordings use the same cloud storage as your documents and attachments, billed per GB.
