If you see the following error when trying to connect your Microsoft 365 mailbox to BaseCloud CRM, it usually means your organization’s security settings require Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to be set up on your account.
Error: “You don’t have access to this” (Error Code 530035)
How to fix this:
- Set up MFA on your Microsoft account
- Visit https://aka.ms/mfasetup
- Sign in with your work email and password
- Follow the prompts to register an authentication method (Microsoft Authenticator app, SMS, or phone call)
- Verify you can access Microsoft 365
- Go to https://office.com and sign in
- If you can’t log in there, contact your IT administrator — the issue is with your Microsoft account, not BaseCloud CRM
- Retry the mailbox connection
- Return to BaseCloud CRM and try connecting your mailbox again
Still not working?
If you’ve set up MFA and can log into Office.com successfully but still can’t connect to BaseCloud CRM:
- Ask your IT administrator to remove the BaseCloud CRM app from your organization’s Microsoft Entra admin center (Enterprise applications → BaseCloud CRM → Delete)
- Wait 20–30 minutes for Microsoft’s systems to sync
- Try connecting again
