Phase 2 Navigation #7: Sending Emails & Texts

Step by step process:

1. I want to send an e-mail to a customer, so I’m going to navigate to a specific customer.
2. From here I need to navigate to send e-mail.
3. I can either use the customer’s details directly and set up my own e-mail content or I can choose an e-mail template.
4. In this instance I would like to choose the onboarding template.
5. After I’ve selected, it pre populates my e-mail template with details and my attachment.
6. Now all I need to do is click send.
7. The e-mail is currently pending and will shortly display as sent.
8. Take a look at the e-mail. You will see this used to be a variable right in the e-mail template that automatically captured the customer’s name and inserted it into the e-mail alongside the attachment and rest of the e-mail copy which it populated correctly.
9. That is how you send an e-mail.
10. Similarly, if you would like to send a text, just click on SMS, choose the customer you would like to send the text to, and select a template.
11. We’ll say Welcome to Neverland and click send.
12. This text message just went out to the customer and you will see it populated here.
13. That is how you send emails and texts from the BaseCloud CRM system.
